About Midlands Fun Days

Midlands Fun Days are based in the heart of the UK and hire out entertainments, games, and activities to corporate, community, and school events plus larger private parties and receptions. In fact any event where you require some great interactive entertainment!

Subject to minimum order we cover the entire Midlands area of the UK including Birmingham, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, and Worcestershire. We're also happy to travel further afield and supply many events in London, Reading, Manchester, & Leeds.

2015 will bring us to twenty years in the event entertainment hire business and in this time we've helped make thousands and thousands of events a success. While it started off with a couple of small bouncy castles for kids parties in the garden all those years ago we've now established a great reputation for delivering exceptional entertainments for fun days, corporate events, product launches, exhibitions, team building, school reward days, and community events as well as larger garden parties and receptions. We are not an agency hiring out a third parties services and earning a commission, all the entertainments on our website are owned and operated directly by ourselves so we don't have to rely on anyone else and know that the buck stops with us!

There are three factors that we think are most important in organising a successful event and thats safety, reliability, and flexibility.

Safety of our customers is paramount so we ensure that all our equipment meets the required BS EN standard, it's safety tested annually, and checked over before and after any event. We will not take short cuts or take on events where we know the equipment cannot be set-up or operated in line with safety regulations. Risk assessments and method statements are available for confirmed bookings and we're covered by liability insurance with £5m indemnity.

When booking the entertainment for your event you need to know that your supplier is reliable and your event will run smoothly. Every year we receive many panicked calls from people who've been let down either with a call a couple of days before claiming they've double booked (we've never actually worked out how you can genuinely 'double book') or even worse just had the supplier not turn up on the day. There are some companies who will take a booking for an item at low price and then keep taking bookings for the same item for the same date raising the price each time until they've achieved the maximum fee that can get. They then cancel the other bookings or worse just don't turn up. How these people sleep at night we're not sure. When you book with us you are booked and we will turn up. In 20 years we've never missed a booking. All bookings are confirmed by email with a proper invoice issued. Our proprietor was one of the original founder members of the NAIH, the first genuine trade association for inflatable hirers that was set up to try and improve standards in the industry.

Flexibility. The most common situation where flexibility is required is in the event of bad weather and we see bad weather as just another challenge to rise to. While some items just can't be operated in the wet we will always try to work with you to make substitutions for more suitable equipment or change things around if you have an alternative indoor space available.
