Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What areas do you cover?

A. We're based in the heart of the Midlands and subject to minimum order requirements cover all of the Midlands and are also happy to travel further afield. We often supply events down in London, and in the other direction Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, & York. Just ask and we'll confirm an overall cost inclusive of delivery.

Q. How do we know you're reliable?

A. 2015 will be our twentieth year in business and you don't stay around for this long without supplying a high quality and reliable service that people know they can trust. We've supplied thousands of events over the years from small parties in the garden to corporate fun days where the attendance is in the thousands. Whatever the size event we know that the entertainment plays a major part and needs to be 100% to make your event a success. If you book with us its a confirmed booking. Unlike some hirers we won't quote an unrealistically low price just to get your booking in the diary and then cancel it later, or just not turn up, because we've managed to find someone willing to pay more. We hear of these stories many times each year and it's shocking how some companies can treat clients.

Q. How do I secure a booking?

A. If after we've provided a confirmed quote you decide to proceed in booking we'll ask you to complete and email back a short booking form. We'll then issue a confirmation email for your records and an invoice including a request for a deposit - normally 20%. Payments can be made by cheque, bank transfer, or credit/debit card.

Q. How do I know your equipment is safe?

A. All our inflatables are designed to meet the BS EN14960 safety standard where applicable and are tested by RPII qualified inspectors on an annual basis. We of course keep a continual check on the condition of all equipment between tests and everything is checked over by our staff before the start of each event. Through trade organisations we make sure we stay fully up to date with all regulations effecting our business. Risk assessments and method statements are available for all confirmed hires and we have liability insurance with an indemnity limit of £5m.

Q. What are your cancellation terms?

A. If you have to cancel for any reason other than poor weather (see below) the following terms apply:

More than 28 days notice then you will lose only the deposit paid. 14-28 days notice then a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total hire fee will be due. Less than 14 days notice then the full charge is payable unless paid within 5 days of cancellation when it will be reduced to 75%.

Bad Weather Cancellations
If you find you have to cancel your booking due to adverse weather then there will be a cancellation charge of just 15% of the total fee as long as we are advised 5 hours prior to the scheduled start of the hire. In circumstances where this would be before 7.30am then the decision must be made by 9pm the previous evening. Any amount already paid over and above the 15% will be returned in these circumstances. However, if the event is postponed to another date where we have availability then any amount already paid will be transferred in full and the 15% cancellation charge will not apply.

Outside these terms the full amount is payable. If we are not advised
otherwise we will attend the event but if the equipment can't be used
safely due to wet weather the hire fee will remain payable in full.

We will always do our best to get to your event but in the event of snow
during the winter months this may not be possible depending on the
conditions on the roads. We need to be sure that we can get there and
back again and have a duty to look after the welfare of our staff. In
the event of us being unable to attend due to snow any deposit paid will
be refunded in full.
